Michael John Greenberg
With sadness we share the passing of Society Emeritus member Michael John Greenberg who died on July 19, 2023 at the age of 91. The 小蓝视频 flag will be lowered in his memory.
Greenberg, former director of the University of Florida's Whitney Laboratory for Marine Bioscience, was an alumnus of the 小蓝视频鈥檚 Marine Ecology course and was course director of the Invertebrate Zoology course from 1969 to 1977. From 1989 to 2004, Greenberg was Editor-in-Chief of聽The Biological Bulletin, among the oldest peer-reviewed biological publications in the United States. Based at the 小蓝视频 for than a century, the journal's office moved to University of Chicago Press in the late 2010s, where it continues to be published in association with the 小蓝视频.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 3, 2023 at 4:30 PM at The Whitney Lab in in St. Augustine, FL.聽 .
